Beginning in Spring 2021, the Print Lab will offer printing services for pickup. To promote social distancing and limit the spread of Covid-19, we can't have people physically printing in the lab for now—there just isn't enough space. Instead, our friendly and experienced Print Lab staff and student monitors will receive your orders using an online form and print them for you. Completed prints will be available for low-contact pickup at the Ampersand Emporium in Design Square Apartments, 91 Cleveland Ave, Columbus, OH 43215, Thursdays 11-4 or by appointment (email artsupplies@ccad.edu or call 614-222-3211). |

The Digital Print Lab is located in Kinney Hall on the entry floor in room 220. Our student-workers at the front desk can help you select the right printer and paper settings for your print and answer other printing questions.

Making sheet prints

Stop by the Digital Print Lab in Kinney Hall with your paper and your file, and print for free. See our current hours above. |
Purchase your paper at the Ampersand Emporium on the first floor of Design Square Apartments (DSA). They carry matte, semi-matte, luster and other types, in sizes 8.5”x11”, 13”x19”, and 17”x22”.
Come to the Digital Print Lab prepared with your paper and your file. We recommend a thumb drive, but you could also email it to yourself or use Google Drive. (Make sure your file is 100% ready to print – the Print Lab computers are for printing only, not editing.)
Sign in at the binder on the front desk.
Check out detailed instructions here or on the posters at the Print Lab.
Print your file for free at any of our stations. (Most are Macs, but we have one PC in case that’s your preference!)
If you have any questions or problems, please ask our student-workers for help.
Order large-format, roll prints
Fill out our online order form, including the files to be printed.

Located on each side of the CCAD Supply Store on the first floor of Kinney Hall
These printers are self service and are available for use even when the Print Lab is closed
25¢ single-sided, 50¢ double-sided prints for all sizes
28lb 8.5” x 11” paper
80lb 11” x 17” paper
28lb 12” x 18” paper
Sheet printing
Buy your paper at the CCAD Supply Store and print in the lab for free.
Other inkjet labeled paper is allowed
The Supply Store carries matte, semi-matte, luster and other stocks
8.5” x 11”, 13” x 19”, and 17” x 22” sheets sold in the store
Roll printing
Bring your ready-to-print file and we’ll print it for you
24” wide prints for $3/ft, 44” wide prints for $6/ft
Matte, semi-matte, and luster paper available
Paper is provided by the lab, you may not print on your own paper
Booklet binding
We can also help you punch and bind booklets in the print labPrint Lab
