Softlinx ReplixFax is CCAD’s digital fax system. If you are a user that has fax access, this page will show you how to use the system with your departmental email.
If you need to request access to the fax system, reach out to the IT Help Desk at helpdesk@ccad.edu. Keep in mind some areas do not have dedicated fax lines. Otherwise, please email faxes to the Mailroom at copyroom@ccad.edu and they can send them out on your behalf.
There are two methods to fax:
Email to Fax (easier, recommended)
Open your CCAD email, and then open the shared mail account that has access to send faxes (e.g., counseling@ccad.edu, financialaid@ccad.edu, etc.). Click Compose at the top left to start a new message.
Address the email to ##########@ccad.rpxfax.com, where ‘##########’ is the 10-digit recipient fax line, and attach the file that you want to fax to the message.
PDF files work best. Word and Excel files are not recommended.
Click Send when you’re satisfied with the message.
A send receipt will appear in the mailbox when the fax is sent successfully.
If there are any errors, they will also appear in the mailbox. If so, double-check the recipient fax number and try to send it again.
Fax using Softlinx ReplixFax
Go to office.com and log in with your CCAD account. Click the Apps button at the top left and click Softlinx ReplixFax to open the fax system (if you don't see it there click All Apps and scroll down).
You will see this screen:
Here you can enter the recipient fax line, choose a cover page, upload the files to be sent, and either send faxes immediate or schedule them to be sent at a particular time.
To verify details of sent faxes, click Faxes from the lefthand navigation. Select the Outbound fax type, set the desired date range and click Search. In the search results below, you can click the View PDF button to see what was attached and sent with the fax.
