CCAD VPN - Mac (old method)

Follow these instructions to get to network resources while off campus, such as files stored on the “H Drive”, “Department Drive”, “ClassFiles”, or “Project Management”. While connected to VPN you can also connect to Solstice wireless projection systems on campus to present from your laptop remotely. Please note:

  • Your laptop must be off campus and connected to WiFi before you begin these instructions.

  • These instructions are only for CCAD-issued laptops. If you are using a personal laptop, you will not be able to connect to the CCAD VPN or network drives while off campus.

  • You do not have to be connected to the CCAD VPN to access your employee email, Self Service, Moodle, Digication, or the Faculty/Staff Portal or SSO apps from office.com.

  • You do not need to connect to the CCAD VPN while on campus. Connect your laptop to ARTNET/ARTNET1 WiFi, or if you have a CCAD-issued laptop connect to your laptop dock, and skip to Step 6 to connect to the network drives.
