There are lots of options for printing on campus. Check out the table of contents below to get started.

Tips & tricks

  • For best results, always download your file to the computer before printing. Many formatting issues are caused by trying to print from a browser window or directly from Google Drive.

Did you know? You can print on-the-go using your smartphone or laptop by going to print.ccad.edu. For more info, see the section on Mobile printing below.

Black & white printing

Below is a list of free black & white printers around campus. You can sort by name, location, or features by clicking the column header. All of these printers have the following features:

  • They are able to print single- or double-sided.

  • They are free to use.

  • They do not print in color.

Color Printing

You have a few different options for color printing at CCAD. You can make laser prints using the coin-operated printers whenever Kinney Hall is open, or you can bring your own paper to the Digital Print Lab during the Print Lab’s open hours.

Color coin printers

  • 2 printers, located on each end of the first floor of Kinney Hall

  • Laser printing (Canon ImageRunner Advance C5030 Multifunction Printer)

  • These printers are self service and are available for use even when the Print Lab is closed

  • 25¢ single-sided, 50¢ double-sided prints for all sizes

  • Size options:

    • 8.5” x 11”

    • 11” x 17”

    • 12” x 18”

Instructions

  1. Use the computer next to the printer to open your file, and go to File > Print.

  2. In the dialogue box, confirm the following settings:
    Printer: KH220-COLOR
    Paper Size: Choose 8.5x11, 11x17 or 12x18
Scale: Set the scale you want to print at (there will be a preview window to the left)

  3. When it looks how you want it to, click Print.

  4. This window will pop up. Click OK.

  5. Put your coins in the coin machine on the wall. No pennies, they will jam in the coin box.

  6. At the printer, select the first folder: Student Files. (The number corresponds to the number you selected in the last pop-up at the computer.)

  7. Select your print and click through the dialogue to print your file.

Digital Print Lab

At the Digital Print Lab in Kinney Hall, you can print professional-quality work on our Canon Pro 1000 Inkjet printers. For more information, see the following page: Digital Print Lab: Hours, Overview, & Pricing

Photography Print Lab
