Turnitin is an originality checking and plagiarism prevention tool that checks your student’s writing for citation mistakes or inappropriate copying. When your students submit a paper(s), Turnitin compares it to text in its massive database of other student’s work, websites, books, articles, etc.
CCAD uses Turnitin via an assignment plugin that can be accessed in Moodle. When your students upload their paper for grading, the plugin will automatically scan and compare it against Turnitin's database and provide a rating for originality.
