If you need to take technology in your office home, such as docks, monitors, keyboard/mouse, please fill out this request form to request assistance from IT staff to unlock equipment if necessary and prepare it for safe transport.

Can I request equipment from IT?

Yes, you can fill out the same form Email helpdesk@ccad.edu to request checkout equipment, including a keyboard/mouse, monitor, Cintiq, laptop, webcam, specific adapters or cables that you might need. Please provide as many details as possible.

  • Requests are subject to approval, and we cannot guarantee equipment availability.

  • If you find that equipment is not functioning properly, please let us know right away so we can get it fixed while still under the item’s warranty.

take my CCAD printer home?

No. We encourage the use of Adobe Acrobat, or Apple Preview to print virtual documents if necessary. Email helpdesk@ccad.edu if you like us to help setup print drivers on your CCAD computer for use with your home printer.

Can I take my desktop computer home?

No. The Covid-19 Coordination team has worked hard to provide laptops to as many CCAD staff as possible. Please consult with your supervisor to discuss your technology needs.

How do I forward my CCAD phone?

Information on how to forward your office phone while on campus is available in this documentation. To forward your phone from off-campus use Cisco Jabber. If that doesn’t work you can (via a CCAD VPN connected laptop) select call forwarding from our online phone portal (sign-in with your CCAD username and password)You can forward all calls using the WebEx softphone application.

Can I install VPN software on my personal computer?

No. At this time personal Personal computers connecting via VPN presents too high of a risk of a computer virus spreading to cyberattack impacting our campus network.

Is the Print Lab open?

The Digital Print Lab is open for online orders on, submit your order and located in Kinney Hall room 220. You can make sheet prints in person or order roll prints using our online order form. We will make the prints within one two business day days and have them ready for pay and pickup at the Ampersand Emporium during their open hours. Prints must be picked up in person.
