Step-by-step instructions

Want to browse the course catalog and search for classes? Go to the Search tab across the top and choose Course.

Here, you can enter keyword search terms for a course such as “drawing” in the example screenshot below. You can narrow your search further by using the fields on the right, such as Course Code (e.g., FINE2204), Program (undergraduate or graduate), and College (major).

Scroll down and click the Search button to generate results.

View the courses that appear in the search results. The course description will be shown, click the name of the course to see more details such as fees and number of credits for the course.

Close the details window. To see what sections of the course are available, click the Find Sections button.

On this page, you’ll need to filter the results by selecting the correct Period (semester) on the right and then click the Search button to generate results.

On the Section search you’ll see more details such as the instructor, when and where the class meets, and how many seats are left. For instructions to register for classes, check out [Register for classes].
