The Digital Print Lab is located in Kinney Hall on the entry floor in room 220. Our student-workers at the front desk can help you select the right printer and paper settings for your print and answer other printing questions.

Monday - Thursday 9AM - 8PM
Friday 9AM - 5PM
Saturday 8:30AM - 12:30PM (while SMAC classes are in session

Making sheet prints

1. Purchase your paper at the Ampersand Emporium on the first floor of Design Square Apartments (DSA). They carry matte, semi-matte, luster and other types, in sizes 8.5”x11”, 13”x19”, and 17”x22”.

2. Come to the Digital Print Lab prepared with your paper and your file. We recommend a thumb drive, but you could also email it to yourself or use Google Drive. (Make sure your file is 100% ready to print – the Print Lab computers are for printing only, not editing.)

3. Sign in at the binder on the front desk.

4. Check out detailed instructions here or on the posters at the Print Lab.

5. Print your file for free at any of our stations. (Most are Macs, but we have one PC in case that’s your preference!)

6. If you have any questions or problems, please ask our student-workers for help.

Order large-format, roll prints

1. Fill out our online order form, including the files to be printed.

2. Read and acknowledge the Print Lab Policy & Service Agreement.

3. We will email you a confirmation with the price of your order. Reply and let us know if you accept.

4. If you accept, we will complete the prints within 2 business days, and email you once your order is ready to be picked up. Prints can only be picked up while Ampersand is open. https://www.ccad.edu/ampersand-emporium

5. You can also email artsupplies@ccad.edu or call 614.222.3211 with questions.

6. Go to the Ampersand Emporium in DSA with your student ID to pay for and pick up your order.

• We can also help you punch and bind booklets in the Print Lab

• 11” metal binding spine can be purchased in DSA in the Ampersand Emporium

• We can trim the spine down to any size
