Computer Lab Software and Equipment

Use this page to find out what software is installed in computer labs, and what equipment is available in those rooms. If you don’t see something you’re looking for or have other technology-related questions, contact the IT Help Desk at helpdesk@ccad.edu or 614.222.6174.

IT installs the most recent stable or long-term support (LTS) version in CCAD computer labs. Software is updated twice a year, before Fall and Spring semester. If you have requests for software, reach out to the IT Help Desk.

Cintiqs and other equipment

Many computer labs on campus are outfitted with 22” Cintiq displays that can be drawn on using stylus pens. The pen you need to use may vary depending on the generation of the device.

Check the table below to see which rooms have which model of Cintiq, and which stylus is compatible.

You can check out both models of stylus pen at the Packard Library in Canzani. The Grip Pen for the Cintiq 22HD can be checked out for 7 days. The Pro Pen 2 for the Cintiq 22 can be checked out for 3 days.

If you prefer, you can also purchase a pen at the Ampersand Emporium in DSA.
