Wireless Projection Using Mersive Solstice

CCAD supports meeting spaces with Bring Your Own Meeting (BYOM) capabilities. You can wirelessly connect your laptop and mobile devices to presentation systems in certain classrooms and event spaces on campus using an app called Mersive Solstice. This page shows you how!

First, turn on the displays in the room. On your laptop or mobile device, connect to ARTNET/ARTNET1 WiFi, or GUESTNET/GUESTNET1 WiFi networks.

Open a web browser and enter the IP address shown on the display you want to connect to. You can also launch the Solstice app if you already have it installed on your computer and choose the name of the display you want to connect to from the list.

If you don’t have the app installed on your device, click Get the App to download the Solstice app.

Install and open the app. Enter the IP address in the Search and press Enter.

Enter the 4-digit code shown on the display.

Click Share Desktop to share your screen on the display. Your audio will also be shared with the room’s sound system by default.

When you’re done using the room, simply close the Solstice app to disconnect.
