Adobe Creative Cloud
CCAD students faculty and staff have full access to Adobe Creative Cloud apps. This page explains how to download and install Creative Cloud and sign in with a CCAD email (e.g., lastname.1@go.ccad.edu) to license the apps.
This offer includes both undergraduate and graduate students.
Fulltime and adjunct faculty, and fulltime staff can also install and use Adobe Creative Cloud software on a personal computer using these instructions.
If you already have the Creative Cloud installed on your computer, simply sign out of your personal account and skip to the Sign in section below.
Download and install
Go to adobe.com/creativecloud/desktop-app.html. Click the Download button to download the installer to your Downloads folder.
Open your Downloads folder and double-click the installer to open it. Follow the prompts to finish installing the Creative Cloud app.
After the installer is finished, open your Applications folder (macOS) or Windows menu (Windows) and open the Creative Cloud app.
Enter you CCAD email address and click Continue.
Choose Company or School Account and use the same passphrase you use to log into your CCAD email.
After signing in, you’ll see the Apps page with Install buttons to choose which apps you want to install.
Once you’ve installed apps, they will appear at the top of the list with Open buttons next to them. If you have updates available for apps, they will show here as well.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT UPDATES:
It’s best not to update to the newest version right after it’s released, in case there are still bugs that need to be worked out or compatibility issues with other software installed on your system. Check with your instructor to see whether they recommend updating, or if you’re having issues with your computer contact the IT Help Desk at helpdesk@ccad.edu or 614.222.6174.
