CCAD VPN - Mac
CCAD VPN allows you to access certain CCAD systems and services while off campus, and get important updates for your Mac.
Step-by-step instructions
Your laptop must be off campus and connected to the Internet to connect to CCAD VPN.
Click the shield icon at the top right of your menu bar and choose Connect to CCAD VPN.
Don’t see Connect to CCAD VPN? Go to the Connecting for the first time section of this page below.
This will open the FortiClient window. Click SAML Login. This will open our Single Sign-On page. Log in using your CCAD email and password.
After signing in successfully, you see this screen and know that you are connected. You can then close the window.
To disconnect, just click the shield in your menu bar at the top right of your screen and click Disconnect CCAD VPN.
Connecting for the first time
Click the shield icon at the top right of your menu bar and choose Open FortiClient Console.
Don’t see the shield icon? Your computer may not have the new CCAD VPN client installed. Contact the Help Desk for further assistance by calling 614-222-6174 or emailing helpdesk@ccad.edu
On the welcome screen, check the box and click I accept. Then, click Configure VPN. Enter the fields exactly as shown in the screenshot below and click Save.
Your CCAD VPN setup is now saved so you won’t have to set it up each time you connect. Click SAML Login. This will open our Single Sign-On page. Log in using your CCAD email and password.
When you see this screen, you’ll know you are connected and can close the window.
To disconnect, just click the shield in the menu bar at the top right of your screen and click Disconnect CCAD VPN.
