Google Chrome Profile Sync

You can sync your bookmarks, history, and settings across all Google Chrome browsers using by enabling Profile Sync in Google Chrome. Set it up using just a few easy steps outlined in this article.

Note that you can set up multiple profiles in your Chrome browser. That means you can set one up for your work account, and one for your personal account to more easily keep track of the two.

Step-by-step instructions

Click the profile circle at the top right of Google Chrome. Click Turn on sync.

A signin screen will open. Sign in using your CCAD account.

After signing in, you will be asked to confirm if you want to turn on profile sync for Chrome. Click Yes, I’m in.

 

After turning sync on, you’ll see you profile picture if you have uploaded one in the profile circle. Otherwise, it will show your initial. You can verify that profile sync is on by clicking the profile circle one more time and viewing the green arrow icon. All of your bookmarks, history, and settings are now backed up on your Google account.

 

If you want to add another profile to Google chrome using a personal address, click the + Add button.
