Teams Chat

In the Chat module, you can utilize a variety of interactive chat features. You may carry out instant messaging as well as video conference, file share, keep meeting notes, and do screen sharing.

Recents tab. This view will show you all your recent chats.

With Recents selected, this area will display all recent chats with the most recent message and the name of the person or group you’ve chatted with.

When a conversation is selected, this is the area where you can use the various chat functions as well as see the conversation log. Along the top, you will see Chat, Files, Meeting Notes, and other features. The purple Join button to the right will allow you to switch the meeting from chat to video conferencing.

Contacts view will allow you to add or modify existing contact groups in your Chats section.

Each contact group will have an editing feature (three dots) where you may add contacts, rename the group and delete the group.

Create a New Contact Group option toward the bottom will enable you to create a new contact group.
