Assignments
On your course page, click the green pencil icon at the top left to turn editing on. Then, click the + Add an Activity or Resource button at the bottom of one of the sections.
The Activity Chooser will appear. Choose Assignment.
Give your assignment a Name. A Description is optional.
Scroll down to the Availability settings and choose the day and time that you want student to begin uploading submissions, what time they are due (after that they will be marked late), what time submissions will stop being allowed. Scroll down and click Save and Display.
From the main assignment page you can see whether it is hidden, how many students it has been assigned to (all of them by default), how many have submitted, how many submissions still need to be graded, and how much time is left until the due date.
Below the summary, you can View all submissions or click Grade to enter the Moodle grading module.
